Portland

This last month has been a blur to me. So much to document. It started by going to Portland with my friend Carrie. We both love the town and love the singer Kate Nash. Kate is really popular in Europe, but not so much in the states. She did a mini tour in the States and we knew we had to go. So to Portland we went.
Carrie and I riding the street car to dinner. We kept calling it the trolley, but kept getting corrected.

Fall? I'm from Arizona and so I am fascinated by the changing color of the leaves.

Kate Nash. It was at a really small venue and was basically amazing!

Carrie and I at Kate Nash. It was the end to a perfect day of urban shopping and excellent eating.

Then we stayed at this place called "Kennedy School," an old school reconstructed into a hotel and restaurants. Each room had a chalkboard in it. Carrie said I always attracted the "interesting" characters, so I had to write this on the board.

Our bookcase in our room.

The huge old school windows.

The drinking fountain. Are you dying over the cuteness of this place??? I'm definately going back and staying there again.

Portland was a quick but perfect trip.
