Sherox Triathlon

This past weekend I participated in the Sherox Triathlon in Tempe. It was an all women's sprint triathlon in honor of Mother's day weekend. It was a 0.5 mile swim in Tempe Town Lake, 13 mile bike, and 5K run around Tempe Town Lake and ASU. All in all it was a good time. There were about 600 competitors and I placed 169 overall and 23/72 in my age group. My break down of events and place that I stood in each individual event:
Swim: 15:12 (32 place overall)
Bike: 49:21 (276 overall) *Obviously not my best event!
Run: 29:52 (191 overall)

I put my times not because they are good or a bit competitive, but a reminder of where I'm coming from. The only person I'm competitive with is myself and my past times (and I have to beat my friend Denise, which I did... haha). Here are some of the photos after the race.
